Come Explore the Best New Braunfels Parks at Veramendi!
Veramendi is an active community that encourages our residents to explore the great outdoors by providing them with multiple picnic areas, ball parks, pools, and playgrounds. Now, as of this month, we’re excited to announce that we’re adding to the growing list of New Braunfels parks with our very own pocket park!
For those of you new to the term, a pocket park is a small park that’s accessible to the general public. They’re often times created as a component of a public space in large building projects as is the case with Veramendi. We’ve allotted a percentage of the development to greenscapes for residents to enjoy!
Veramendi is dedicated to creating several pocket parks so that every home in the community will be within a quarter mile of one once the master plan is completed! The first of which, is 1.165 acres and can be found at the corner of Quince Ave and Nightshade Trail.
Of course, here at Veramendi we want you and your family (including your fur‑babies) to enjoy the sun‑filled days together! That’s why each pocket park in the community will include a covered playscape, pavillion, lawn area, a drinking fountain with accompanying pet bowl, and waste bag dispensers for the pet owners in our community!
