Veramendi, is excited to release conceptual renderings of Word Park, a 65+ acre regional park set to redefine outdoor recreation in the Texas Hill Country. As the first regional park in Veramendi’s planned over 480‑acre connected park system, Word Park will serve as a vibrant hub for families, nature enthusiasts, and outdoor adventurers alike.

Named in honor of the Word family, who have carefully preserved and cared for the land since 1941, Word Park embodies the rich history of the region. Until now, this land has remained largely inaccessible to the public, but with the development of Word Park, the entire community will soon be able to enjoy its natural beauty and recreational benefits. The park’s thoughtful design integrates the area’s diverse landscape, mature tree canopy, and native materials to create an authentic Hill Country experience.

This additional space will ensure that the land is preserved and honors its natural heritage.
