Fun For The Whole Family This Weekend
The 3rd Annual Dia de los Muertos New Braunfels’ Festival takes place this Saturday, October 27 from Noon – 10:00pm downtown on San Antonio Street just minutes from Veramendi. This fun community event celebrating Hispanic culture is hosted by the New Braunfels Chamber’s Hispanic Business Alliance and will feature local food and food trucks, drinks, arts & crafts, face painting for the kids, an ofrenda (offering space) for honoring the lives of loved ones passed, vendor booths, shopping, contests and live entertainment. The event is free to attend and perfect for the entire family to enjoy a full day of festivities.
Dia de Los Muertos is a celebration of life and originated in central and southern Mexico more than 3,000 years ago, originating at the time of the Aztec culture. Come join the fun this weekend!
