About The Comal River
Originally called the Little Guadalupe by Spanish explorers, the Comal River begins in beautiful Landa Park located just 3.5 miles from Veramendi. It is the shortest navigable river in the state of Texas and is a tributary of New Braunfels other much longer river, the Guadalupe. About The Guadalupe River

The Lower Guadalupe begins at the outlet of Canyon Lake and runs all the way to San Antonio Bay on the Gulf of Mexico.
